Biography

Katherine Degn is the director and owner of Kraushaar Galleries. She is a member of numerous professional organizations and currently serves on the board of the Art Dealers Association of America. Ms. Degn is a specialist in American paintings, drawings, prints, and sculpture of the 20th and 21st centuries. Kraushaar Galleries  primarily exhibits American art, representing artists and estates. 

For over 35 years, Ms. Degn has used her expertise to build private, public and corporate collections, provide appraisal and consulting services related to collection development and management, and advise museums, art consultants and auction houses all over the country. Recent projects include the acquisition and installation of art for the campus of a Fortune 100 company and a market evaluation and sales strategy for a large private collection.
